We help people find a better state of well-being through individualized whole body, holistic care. We identify the underlying causes of symptoms or disease—from joint pain to bee stings. Then, we provide natural solutions that we have tested and trust to help people reach their individual goals—from having more energy to finding relief from headaches.

First you will need to know which ‘direction’ you wish to pursue; seeking nutritional care or chiropractic care? This how we will know how to schedule your first visit. In either case we will have some questions about your health concerns and your health history. After the consult, we would perform various examination procedures to assess your functional health status and explain how we may be able to help. (You can learn more about the specific on our Services page.)

In our office you are under no obligation for any treatment when you come in as a new patient nor is treatment typically rendered on your first visit. The doctor is thorough and studies your file before recommending any specific care. Every case is different and we only accept people into care that we feel we can truly help. If the doctor accepts your case, then you should know that he or she feels confident that you can be helped by our methods.

What is Bioenergetic Medicine?

Bioenergetic medicine addresses the underlying causes of organ and tissue dysfunction at a much deeper and earlier level than anything you could pick up from a blood or saliva test. Bioenergetics is the health care side of quantum mechanics. “Bio” =’s life and “Energetics” =’s the science of electron behavior and energy fields. Although Bioenergetics is generally not widely accepted in the medical arena as a valid form of health care, once you experience the health improvements first hand, its benefits are undeniable.

What is Functional Medicine & Nutritional Lab Analytics?

Nutritional Lab Analytics” (NLA), also known as “Functional Diagnostic Nutrition” (FDN), “Functional Diagnostics” (FD) or most commonly called “Functional Medicine” (FM) is an approach in health care that looks at various blood, saliva, stool and urine testing to find the cause of disease.

Functional Medicine addresses the underlying causes of disease, using a systems-oriented approach and engaging both patient and practitioner in a therapeutic partnership. It is an evolution in the practice of medicine that better addresses the healthcare needs of the 21st century. By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. Functional medicine practitioners spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, functional medicine supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual. – See more at: https://www.functionalmedicine.org/about/whatisfm/#sthash.UUh1ijd6.dpuf

What is BRT?:

BRT is a quick and non-invasive system of analyzing the body to determine the underlying causes of illness and non-optimum health.

BRT stands for “Bioenergetic Response Testing” and is a “muscle testing” technique that has been developed by Drs. David & Jill Noble over the last 15 years. BRT is essentially an energy technique where we can discover needs, benefits and interferences to your body’s function just by providing a stimulus and observing whether the arm goes ‘weak’ or stays ‘strong’. The stimulus could be a thought, a supplement, a vial of lead or whatever.

The actual procedure is simple and direct, using “muscle response” testing to read and prioritize what the body needs, first and most, then determine the underlying causes of dysfunction or disease. Things like; stuck emotions, heavy metals, toxins, immune challenges and food sensitivities, cause chronic negative responses in the body that leads the body down the path to manifesting symptoms and disease.

Once these interferences are discovered, we can restore the flows and functions of the body so it can then heal itself using nutritionals, botanicals and homeopathics. It’s awesome!

How do my body pains relate to Nutritional care?

During two decades of helping patients get well through chiropractic, we have also seen multiple cases that were resistant to healing with chiropractic adjustments alone. We found that in these cases the resistant or recurring pain syndromes were actually often coming from a reflex of a sick or stressed organ! Once we saw this connection, how to find it on people and actually help remove the stress of the organ(s) in question, we were able to help a lot more people faster!

It may be hard to “buy into” this until you experience the transformation yourself. Not only is this effective, but so much safer than getting hooked on damaging drugs!

Why should I see a Chiropractor?

Chiropractic is famous for naturally helping people with neck pain, headaches and low back pain, but is not limited to just that. Chiropractic care has been known to help people who suffer from a wide range of conditions from fibromyalgia to diabetes. More specifically, chiropractic keeps your body at its peak performance by correcting spinal subluxations. We offer short-term care whenever possible for a quick recovery as well as provide long-term direction for those that need a little more help.

What is a “Subluxation”?

Subluxation is the technical word to describe when the vertebrae (spinal bones) are ‘out of place’ or moving incorrectly. When a vertebrae is subluxated, it begins to irritate or put pressure on the nerves and blood vessels as they exit the spinal column. This pressure creates physical and electrical interference to the nervous system in the spine which diminishes the connection between the brain and body. Subluxations can be caused by a wide range of issues ranging from a minor slip or bump to a car accident or any sudden trauma. Subluxations are also caused by bad postural habits, toxic lifestyles and stress.

Is chiropractic effective?

Yes. In fact, chiropractic has a high satisfaction rating and phenomenal track record for helping people restore their health all without the use of drugs or surgery.

How does chiropractic care work?

Everyone has an inborn ability to heal and survive. For your body to ‘survive optimally’ and remain healthy, your nervous system must function well and in order for your nervous system to function well, it must be free of interference; physically, nutritionally and emotionally. By restoring normal spinal function with Chiropractic adjustments, nerve interference by misaligned vertebrae is removed, thus allowing optimal nervous system function and improved health. Chiropractic works by restoring the communication between the brain and body.

In the chiropractic world, drugs and medicine are not utilized as a form of treating a patient. While supplementation and nutrition are almost always a part of the bigger picture, drugs and prescriptions can be viewed as band-aids to treat symptoms rather than going to the source and treating the real underlying problem.

What is a chiropractic adjustment? Is it safe?

A chiropractic adjustment is a quick and gentle spinal joint manipulation that resets the movement and positioning of the vertebra being adjusted. This will immediately reduce or eliminate the overall tension in the spine and nervous system which commonly brings quick relief. Occasionally, you may hear a noise that sounds like you’re cracking your knuckles that is referred to as an “audible release”, but is not clinically significant. The noise is just the quick release of gas from within the joint capsule.

Adjustments are very safe and are performed on people of all ages. In fact, multiple international studies have concluded that chiropractic adjustments are very safe. To quickly prove this point, compare the costs of professional malpractice insurance policies for medical doctors and chiropractors. Interestingly, chiropractic doctors enjoy very low malpractice insurance rates due to its safety.
