Music Heals The Brain!
I have have always loved music and have always stayed connected to music in some way. I always felt that good music was somehow beneficial beyond the mere entertainment value; good for the soul or some such deeper thing. Maybe you have thought that as well? Well now science has been showing this reality!
Research has actually shown that music can improve sleep, enhance mood, foster learning, help manage stress, and strengthen memory! If that’s not good enough it has also been shown to reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and even physical pain.
Mozart improves the intellectual and creative development of children from the very youngest of ages, according to a study published in the journal, “Consciousness and Cognition”. Music can even help dementia patients recall memories and emotions, according to a study by “Music and Memory”.
